Sheetz coffee is great - much better than average convenience store coffee. The automatic creamer and sweetener dispensers, when they work, seem cheap and not in the same league as the coffee. The creamer is not as good as that in a tub or even a carton or a carafe. Most convenience stores which sell decent coffee still offer individual sugar/seeetener packets as well as creamer tubs. If it’s a cost issue (which seems ...more »
In addition to the normal hot coffee self serve, it would be awesome to add self serve iced coffee. I was in a Sheetz like gas station in Massachusetts and they had self serve iced coffee, complete with a flavor adding station. I think it would be a great seller!
It would be great to have a sugar free cappuccino option at the self-serve station. This is an untapped market, and would be very popular amonst diabetics and people who follow a low carb/keto diet. Your blend could be sweetened with Splenda or Stevia and still remain sugar free.
Get-Go offers soy milk for self serve coffee. It'd be great if Sheetz did the same. I'd buy coffee at sheets a lot more often if they did.
I've noticed that many Sheetz are going to whole milk / french vanilla in the liquid dispensers, displacing the skim milk option. While I know there may not be a large need for skim, I feel like this should be at least a request-able option. I was told the MTO skim is ordered based on MTO volume and so any self-serve use would through off the numbers. This means Sheetz is the only coffee place around where skim is ...more »
When the Large dispenser of half-and-half was out I had to use that machine that dispenses little drops of creamer I was dismayed how terrible it tasted but I thought all half-and-half is half-and-half it's only two ingredients how could you be more. Well... see below. I am sure it is probably two different companies that make the creamer (as it should be called) for those two different dispensers. Anyway I consume ...more »
I frequently travel through PA, VA, and NC and probably about 25% of Sheetz stores have a separate Half and Half dispenser, in addition to the "choose your own flavor" coffee flavor dispenser. It's a pain to keep pressing the button on those dispensers and you have to keep adjusting your coffee cup to make sure that it goes into it and not on the counter. I'd like to see it standard practice that all Sheetz stores have ...more »
The recent rollout of camo cups have a flaw that the coffee will leak out of the air hole on the lid. It seems to be situated in the wrong place. We have purchased 4 of these cups. They don't leak every day but I do make sure I get a few napkins to place under the flip lid to avoid coffee leaking down the side where my fingers are.
I think you should be able to buy cups of coffee as a gift. We should sell coffee coupons. It would be a great gift for offices, schools and large business.
Coffee dispensers - UGH!
More older locations with fresh brewed ice tea and perhaps a server of sweetened ice tea that is presweetend with Splenda
The degree of roast has an effect upon coffee flavor and body. Right now Sheetz is only serving darker roasts such as French and Italian Roasts. While these dark roasts are generally bolder because they have less fiber content and a more sugary flavor, they are also thinner and more watery. The lighter roasts such as Cinnamon Roast and New England Roast have a more complex and stronger flavor from aromatic oils and acids ...more »
