Sheetz could have its own app that could let you scan your My Sheetz card so you'd only need your phone to access it. It could also tell you of any new deals, and keep track of when your next free coffee/sub/etc would be. It could maybe be implemented into the MTO service in that you could have the menu within the App, and simply order from home and have the food/drink ready when you arrived (payment could also be processed... more »
Place pay machines at the MTO kiosks. That way you don't need to walk all the way to the front to pay then walk all the way back.
MTO desserts could be a great contribution. I always wish Sheetz had desserts. Something like Fried apple dumplings and oreos, or even an ice cream sundae area MTO!
Around where I live, the food overs are just shouted when they are ready, if the store is busy, sometimes it can be hard to hear the order number. Why not have the employees announces that "Order #xxx, is ready" or something like that.
Being a vegetarian, there are not many options on the MTO menu besides a cheese sub or veggie sub to choose from. Many popular food chains have taken notice to the non-meat eaters and started serving veggie burgers (Burger King) and Veggie Patties (Subway). With the new craze of everyone trying to eat healthier, serving a veggie patty as an MTO option would allow vegetarians or anyone looking for a healthier option to... more »
One of my favorite parts about the MTO menu is the drink section. I love the many different options there are for blended coffee drinks and fruit smoothies, but I think including a section for milkshakes would add an exciting twist to the menu, especially for the summer! People could choose their favorite base flavor and add things to mix in, such as M&Ms, peanuts, cookies, etc.
Make everything on the menu able to be completely customized. Having to yell back to the busy workers is too hard on both customer and workers and then you often end up with something on your food that you don't want/are allergic to/etc.
This would operate in 2 stages: 1. Data collection - As people could go into order they could opt to tell the system what their basic mood is (i.e. Sad, happy, excited, really hungry) and it would collect that data as well as save the order. This would then be compiled from several regions to find out what people eat most when they are in certain moods. 2. Implementation into ordering system - When we have enough... more »
Have nutritional info available as you order your food. That way we can see just how many calories is in that extra cheese on our subs and decide if we should keep it or not! It would help people to make healthier choices and make it easier for those of us on a diet.
I prefer Sheetz coffee MTO drinks to Starbucks any day but when it comes down to needing to meet someone for a coffee... Starbucks has a quieter more Cafe like setting. One of the Sheetz I go to has tables but the atmosphere isn't as cozy and welcoming. I would suggest making a Cafe Area secluded by doors or something away from the hustle and bustle of the gas station section that is just way to crowded. You could... more »
You are always advertising that you sell things for $1, $2, $3, and $4 but there is just one or two items for each price! Please expand your MTO menu to include several options for each price tag.
I know I love to go to Sheetz to get my lunch. I would love to option to submit my MTO food order from my computer with a time window I could come and pick it up. Online payment for that would also be great. That way I don't have to spend 1/2 of my lunch waiting for my food to be made.
Add these three things to the MTO.
1) BONELESS wings (honey BBQ, sweet/sour, hot, mild, etc.)
2) corn dogs!
3) spinach for Sandwhiches/wraps
When ordering MTO foods, the screen should tell you whether or not they actually have what you're ordering. That way you don't have pissed off customers who wait 20 minutes and have already paid, just to find out that there is no more of what they ordered.
Why is McDonald's the number one fast food company? Real estate and the dollar menu. Your hot dogs sell like crazy but I'm better the burgers and burritos don't. You're telling me McDonald's can offer a $1 double cheese burger but you can offer an atomic cheese burger for under $6? Rather then capitalizing on more expensive new foods, find a way to cut the retail overhead of these products and get them closer $5 or under.... more »
