One of the reasons I enjoy Sheetz so much is because of the aesthetic. The restaurant is well designed and the graphic design department is top notch. I am amazed that at this point, Sheetz still has not embraced the mobile trend. As good as Sheetz is (Food, Friendliness, Cleanliness, Price Points) the mobile app is still stuck in 2013. It really hasn't changed all that much, and yet, technology has. Sheetz should seriously look into updating the user interface, introduce in-app mobile ordering, and embrace NFC payment options. It is sometimes hard to remember exactly how you ordered something that was just like you like it. So if you made it so when you step up to the order screen, you could scan your sheetz card, it was say here are items you ordered before, would you like to select one of them?
Then you would get that great drink or sandwich or salad you had last time without all the work and trying to remember!
It would be helpful for me if there was a way for us to customize our orders so we have the amount of something we want. I love your chef salads, but there's always so much ham on it. I'm not a huge fan of ham, so if it were possible for me to tell you to put as little ham on it as possible, it would make my eating experience more enjoyable.
Create an online app for ordering, so that food will be ready when I get to the store.
Every time I go into a Sheetz and someone orders MTO food, the warning buzzer goes off. Its so ear splitting loud and persistent that it actually makes standing in the store painful for more than a few minutes. Sheetz could truly benefit from installing machines that let you pay for your Made-To-Order orders at the ordering kiosks. It would be easier and a great way for customers that are just getting food to pay for their orders without having to stand in long lines with those that are getting gas or items that aren't on the Made-To-Order Menu. I know I love to go to Sheetz to get my lunch. I would love to option to submit my MTO food order from my computer with a time window I could come and pick it up. Online payment for that would also be great. That way I don't have to spend 1/2 of my lunch waiting for my food to be made.
Sheetz could have its own app that could let you scan your My Sheetz card so you'd only need your phone to access it. It could also tell you of any new deals, and keep track of when your next free coffee/sub/etc would be.
