I prefer Sheetz subs over Subway subs. One thing I used to love that Subway offered was an imitation crab salad sandwich called the Seafood Sensation. If we were to offer a crab salad meat to our subs ( a mix of just mayo and imitation crab) I think it would be popular. Customers could have the option of adding cocktail sauce, tar tar or old bay to their sandwich.
It would be great if sheetz had seafood subs like subway does. They are so yummy even if it were only a seasonal item!
A taco but only on a sub roll...you already carry everything that you put on a taco and this way you don't have to mess with the shells...all you need is the taco meat...and they are really good. My family and friends enjoy them often and are great for taco lovers and sandwich lover alike.......(as long as it's good taco meat)
A General Tso's Chicken Wrap/Sub would be fantastic! Typical smaller pieces of General Tso's chicken, paired with all the usual toppings on toasted bread with a bit of General Tso's sauce on the bread to top it off.
i would definitely buy many more subs at sheetz if they gave me the option for a traditional hoagie roll. The bread which Wawa uses for all their subs/hoagies makes me always pick a Wawa over a Sheetz if they are both nearby. The MTO's will do but Wawa wins as far as bread quality for this frequent convenience store sub/hoagie buyer.
Please help Luigetta's Hoagies and Texas Hot Dogs expand outside of Altoona and become an excellent addition to your MTO options. I was born and raised in Altoona and they are my absolute favorite foods. I now live in Harrisburg and they have absolutely nothing like them here or anywhere else throughout my travels. Also, some Gardner's Peanut Butter Meltaways would be another great taste of home as well!
I love the taste of your subs, over the taste of the sub place named for public transit, but your "packaging" of the sub could be improved, and the sandwich improved, if you used a looser paper wrap instead of the tight foil wrap you do use. I'd love it if we could split toppings on 12" subs, so that one 6" part could have different toppings from the other. The meat choice would have to be the same, but I don't see why we can't chose to put cheese or lettuce or whatever toppings on just one side or the other. I was so excited when you guys introduced the herb bread for MTO subs. But I think a few more choices could make the MTO experience even better. I'd love to see some kind of cheese infused bread, mutli grain, sourdough, etc. Kind of like what Subway offers.
I cant tell you how many hot subs I've bought wrapped in the silver like paper that seems to disintegrate when any moisture hits it. Foil doesnt do that, wax paper doesnt do that, but the sheets hot sub wrapping lets a stream of deliciousness escape all over my pants. It also makes them rather difficult to eat when driving as it clings to the sub and you get pieces of foil like desintegrating paper in your mouth. Perhaps ...more »
One reason I love going to subway it flatbread, if sheetz added flatbread for subs, it would be perfect. And since the touchscreen prints a receipt anyway, why not just make the payment there instead of walking across the store twice? It makes sense
