Add a quantity option at the kiosk. Currently, I cannot find this, so I have to go back and go through all the options again. This quantity option has to be careful to include/exclude upsale options like fries. I might want 2 sandwiches but only 1 fry. ideally, an edit order where quantity is next to each item would be the solution, then I just up the sandwich quantity to 2.
On breakfast sandwiches, I have a choice to add bacon but not other meats. I may have this backwards, but I think I can order a sausage and egg sandwich, and then add bacon which is what I'm after. However, if I order bacon and egg, I cannot add sausage. Set kiosk to allow the add of any offered meats to any offered sandwich. Typically, all other options are set like this.
My regular store closed for upgrade and I had no idea it was closed, or when it would reopen. I kept checking Google and eventually found a newspaper article saying it was closed for remodeling and would open in the next 4 months. At lease email alert people whose loyalty cards, credit cards have used that store, or put it on the pump ads or just email blast all members.
Alerting account members by email when a new Sheetz opens in their area would be great. If "by area" is not doable then a full email blast/update would work. I spoke with someone in a town I often cut through to see if they had a Sheetz. They told me no. On either loyalty/credit or both cards, show me the market price of the fuel/gallon and the final cost/gallon (don't just show the savings total for each purchase). On the credit card statement adding all the gallons and savings, show me that I saved $x by using my card(s). This not only reinforces the savings I get from using my card(s) but it would help if there was no receipt (I would have the total cost and the ...more »
Put something on the site/u-tube on using the MTO drive through. Is it full service, limited service, MTO only? I honestly don't know and have talked to a few folks in line with me who also didn't know, and thus we don't use it. I also see one cashier so do they have to leave the line to take care of an MTO order? If i have a large order am I tying up the person who only wants a coffee?
Set up drive through with a "holding" station for waiting and a board to show what orders are ready so you can leave the holding area. This could tie with several other suggestions but the order number would display when your order was ready and you could leave the holding station to pick it up (ideally already paid for either inside or via the Kiosk at the pump) but not too bad if you paid at the window. Put an out of paper alert at the pump which also alarms in the store. Prevent the no paper option first but if it must happen, an alert would allow me to pick a different pump or get the receipt while I'm in the store for the MTO. I currently pump, order, pay, turn pump off and then have to go stand in line again to get the receipt. the email suggestions prevents this also. Limited parking often means I have to leave ...more »
Use of the credit card should tie to the loyalty card without having to swipe both cards. If i don't have my credit card, then I can swipe both.
Put an MTO Kiosk at the pump so you can order food, pay for it with your gas and have it ready by the time you finish fueling. Currently a lot of folks start the pump, then go into the store, order, stand in line to pay/wait for food etc while the pump has already shut off.
