There is nothing more frustration from an employee standpoint as trying to clean and get everything ready for the next day, QA, ect, while also having to be making orders, nonstop, worry about taking temps, and wipe downs and all the little things. I feel that an easier way to get people to donate would be to change (or add a button) to the POS that allows for rounding the bill to the nearest whole dollar and donating the change For The Kidz. I've found much success asking people if they would rather round up instead of donating a dollar, and I know a lot of people would feel more comfortable having a button to push that rounds it up instead of doing the math to ...more »
Sheetz is a leader in a lot of things, however, if you ask any employee (former or current) work/life ratio is one of the issues with working there.
I think giving management one weekend off a month would go into helping alieve this problem.
Why is there so many restrictions on what I want to order? Why can't I order Fire Roasted Tomato as a salad dressing? Why can't I add Mac & Cheese Bites to my sub? All of these seemingly random restrictions really limit MY order. If I want to order something that someone thinks is nasty, I should still have the option to personally create that order. Take a burger or chicken (I suggest spicy chicken) patty. Throw it on bread (default should be ciabatta as it will hold the sauce better.)..
On bottom bun put a habanero/Ranch mixture, jalapenos, burger/chicken, jalapeno poppers, hot pepper cheese and bacon.
Sourdough bread (toasted) with ham, boom boom, sauerkraut and swiss then cut.
