Have a drive through touch menu and window on the outside of the building. It can run the same system and kitchen with possibly a condensed menu if needed. It would open up traffic on the inside and save time especially with breakfast items. You could even include specific store items such as RedBull or candy.
Set up a system to call a "Code 3" or something similar when more than 3 people are waiting in line at the registers. I visit your stores daily and most of them are pretty good. However, some don't seem to care how long the wait is. At times, I have seen 2 people cleaning around the coffee pots while chatting and laughing, 2 or more making food, and 1 person running a register with 10-12 people waiting in line!
If I want to order two of the same thing I now have to go through the full process twice. Why can't I just have the option to say I want 2 or 3 or 10 of the MTO item I just built?
We need the tight fitting gloves in MTO. It's hard to make a sandwich look beautiful when you have those cheap, crappy, way too big gloves on. They spin 360's on your hands and slide off constantly. To me, that is unsanitary and counter productive. I guarantee it will help get the orders ready faster.
Food prep varies greatly at each Sheetz but no Sheetz I have been to is what I would consider fast and this has deterred me from ordering before even though I wanted to enjoy a MTO. Please put something in place to speed up prep time.
