Your food is good and popular so at meal times there can be quite a few people standing around waiting for their food but the stores are often crowded (with people and product). You might want to incorporate more open space in the MTO area in new store designs.
Have a drive through touch menu and window on the outside of the building. It can run the same system and kitchen with possibly a condensed menu if needed. It would open up traffic on the inside and save time especially with breakfast items. You could even include specific store items such as RedBull or candy.
I think it would be great to add a dining in section of sheetz. Most of them currently have out door patio areas with tables and chairs. That's great for the spring / summer. but by fall & winter. There's no where to sit and eat. It'd be cool to be able to sit inside!
Instead of manual doors into Sheetz, they should have oscillating doors or doors that open automatically. Its really hard to open the doors sometimes when your hands are full of coffees, pop and other Sheetz goodiez!
To attract more business and cater to more people, Sheetz should add indoor seating and offer college students an additional 5% off food purchases. Our brand new Sheetz in Asheboro, NC has four outdoor tables... but due to the metal frame umbrella with holes embedded into it, it's impossible to eat outside unless it's a clear day.
There needs to be a better way of directing traffic at the registers. I don't know how many times I've patiently waited in line, just to have someone walk in the side door and jump line.
Of all the places I've ever stopped at this is the only one that uses 1ply toilet paper could sheetz please change and make it 2 ply
wheelchair door to open when you are in a wheelchair , most places have a botton to push and the doors open at sheetz you have to hold the door open and they to get a wheelchair thow it .
Change the orientation of the Sheetz restaurants to be more efficient. Most Sheetz I have been in do not have clearly defined entrances and exits. Paint clearly defined lanes and put in signs with clear labels indicating which way you enter and exit. Overall, clearly marked entrances and exits make for more efficient traffic flow, more happy customers, and more revenue for the business.
would love to see an indoor dining area with dimmed lighting and wi-fi
There should only a machine for lotto tickets. That way when there is only a couple cashiers it's not held up by lotto buyers that tend to keep cashing in on tickets or can't make up their minds and hold up a lot of other customers. A cigarette machine would be awesome too....Same reasons.
It would be nice if the were table and chairs outside to sit at and eat if you don't want to get food all over your car or just want to enjoy the great outdoors
The lines at most locations (especially around lunch and dinner) are overcrowded. The line of people waiting to pay bumps into the line of people waiting for their MTO's. Lines are often blocking the aisles so it is difficult for shoppers.
I have noticed that you have done away with the canopy from the gas pumps to the store. Your have done this with your new locations as well as when you remodel an old location. The canopy is actually functional and allows your customers to go inside your store without getting snowed on or wet. I have no clue why would do away with something that is functional. Please bring them back!
Sheetz should put some hand sanitizer stations at the exits of the store. After touching the touch screens, handling money, etc., it would be nice to quickly sanitize your hands on the way out, on your way to eat your MTO or whatever food you just got...
